Burke and the American Tradition of Ordered Liberty
Ian Crowe - 12/28/10

In this talk, Dr. Ian Crowe addresses the topic of Edmund Burke and the American tradition of ordered liberty.

Crowe states in this lecture that “Burke did not actually seem that interested in . . . the physical charters if you like, that came out of the American Revolution. . . .” This is of interest as written, physical charters would be of prime importance in the tradition of ordered liberty. Crowe goes on to focus on Burke’s formative years and eventually provides some biographical information amongst the various aspects of his presentation.
