Rushdoony, Rousas J.
Roger Scruton - 07/27/11

The patriarch of the Christian Reconstruction movement and theonomy, Rushdoony formed a new generation of Reconstructionist thinkers, including Gary North (Rushdoony’s son-in-law), Greg Bahnsen, James Jordan, and David Chilton. Rushdoony’s movement has united Christians of different backgrounds, offering them an objective standard of ethics, an optimistic vision of national renewal, and a radically theistic interpretation of all disciplines.
